Call for Papers

2012 China International Conference on Game Theory and Applications

August 29-30, 2012

Qingdao, China

We cordially invite you to attend the 2012 China International Conference on Game Theory and Applications. This conference is a continuation of China Meeting on Game Theory and Applications (CMGTA) and the First Conference of Chinese Game Theory and Experimental Economics (CGTEEA). The conference will provide an open platform to worldwide scholars for presenting research and exchanging ideas of new developments in game theory and applications. The conference will be held on August 29-30 in Qingdao, a beautiful coastal city of Shandong province and the home of China乫s most famous beer. Every summer, starting the second weekend of August, Qingdao hosts the largest beer festival in Asia with international breweries from all over the globe.

Sponsoring Institutions: China Association of Game Theory and Experimental Economics, Academy of Mathematics and Systems Science at Chinese Academy of Sciences, Operation Research Society of China,Research Center for Games and Economic Behavior at Shandong University,and the National Natural Science Foundation of China.

Plenary Talks: Xiaotie Deng (University of Liverpool), Rodney Garratt (University of California at Santa Barbara), Ehud Kalai (Northwestern University), and Leon A. Petrosyan (St.-Petersburg University).

Topics: We hope to highlight synergies between various research areas in game theory and applications and encourage discussions among participants. Topics include but not limited to:

Cooperative and non-cooperative games, Game-theoretic applications to economics, finance, and management sciences, Dynamic games, Evolutionary games, Stochastic games, Network games, Auctions, Experimental Economics, Mechanism Design, Assignment games.

Paper Submission: All papers will be peer-reviewed by two reviewers from the Program Committee. Once the paper selection is complete, parallel sessions for the conference will be formed based on the topics of the accepted papers. Authors of accepted presentations will be notified via e-mail before June 30. All extended abstracts are to be submitted electronically atcicgta2012@163.com. Deadline for submission is June 15.
